I know it's a little ways off, but it's coming on April 30, and being a newly-converted Wiccan, what are some ways that I can celebrate it and show honor to the Goddess on that date? I'm thinking of picking some flowers and bringing them in, doing some baking, but what are some more activities I can do when I celebrate?
I think for me I will do a cleansing ritual. That includes a cleansing bath with blessed salts and water, rose petals, hyssop and lavender. Then I will take a nice walk outside. I may also do a small ritual with candles and incense. I will also do some spring cleaning. Baking is a great idea!
Depending on what goddess or god you feel you resonate with the most should be the one you pray to. I think you need to discover more mythology to really find them. Or maybe you already have...I do not know. I will pray to Persephone welcoming her home and Hecate for bringing her and Demeter for allowing us to see the rebirth of the world.
Also Noelle (PrettyDark) is going to have the first edition of The Mother Earth Pages which will be for Beltane I believe so you can get some ideas there as well! ;n
All the love
XOXOXO
Rachel :)
