So said the nurse yesterday when I went in for my 16 week checkup. She was getting the heartbeat, but she likes a specific sound and apparently, my lil one kept moving around!

I got for my ultrasound in 3 weeks and I am sooo excited I can't stand it. You guys, I am just so happy and all smiley all the time. :)

Only one little scare though. I was told I have a negative blood type (Rh negative) but the boyfriend is O positive......I've read all I can about the Rh factor and while there are all these reassurances that it will be okay...I still can't help but to be a bit panicky. I suppose that's normal.

*sigh* I am so content and happy.....right now I just feel like I don't even deserved to be this blessed! :)

I had the same problem with my little guy, they couldn't get more than two heartbeats at a time before he'd be off on the other side of my tummy kicking away!
The ultrasound is the greatest thing in the whole friggin world...are you going to find out if you are having a boy or a girl?? I think I only got 3 hours of sleep the nite before my ultrasound lol. You'll just have to let us know all about it!!!

my best friend had the whole rh deal too.

from my understanding, there's nothing to worry about w/the 1st baby. it's following ones that can have a problem. & if the give you a couple shots at diff stages, it should prevent there being problems w/later kids.

my best friend had a 2nd baby, and both were just fine.

Ryoko! yes, I will find out if I'm having a boy or a girl. At first I thought I was having a girl cause I'd have all these dreams about it being a baby girl....but now the boy dreams are popping up just as much!!

Thanks for the reassurances about the Rh thing! :)

And Kismet, we've had our phone off for the past week (a misunderstanding between us and the phone company) but it is back on now.
