I had to boast. We changed my 3 (in Dec) year old's crib into a real bed this past weekend. We thought it would be horrible. She was already climbing out of her crib, and I was so afraid she would hurt herself. She went right to sleep!!! Never got up once, and came into our room. nothing. She comes and wakes me up in the morning when she wants me to get up. I am so amazed! She would get out of her crib constantly throughout the night. Now she sleeps like a baby LOL.

My 3 y/o has a bed, but sometimes I think it is just for show :p For a while I was able to put him to sleep in there and everything was honky dory but lately he is on this kick of wanting to sleep with my parents all the time. (I don't let him sleep with me because there is not enough room in my bed for him and my b/f) Last night though I made him sleep in his bed, I really need to get him back into that routine.

It is easier for us cause she has never slept with us. She won't do it. If she isn't in bed she thinks it is time to get up and play. We have tried to have her sleep with us. Sometimes I would like to. It does freak us out a bid though, every morning she is hovering over my husband when he wakes up. Scares him every time.

Ack! She fell out of her bed tonight. Went in and she was onthe floor tangled in her blanket. Man she must be a mover! Poor thing. I felt bad for her. But thankfully she got back in it and went back to bed...phew!

When my parents switched my little sister to a bed from a crib (this was like 10 years ago though!) they bought this little thing to put on the side of her bed, a guard to keep her from rolling out of bed since they knew from me and my brother that we were resteless tossing and turning sleepers and constantly fell out of bed!

Well the bed we have switches from crib to toddler and it does that this edge that you would think would prevent her from falling off. Yet somehow she tosses and turns so much that it didn't help. Or she actually got out of bed and didn't fall out but she was still half asleep when we went to check on her. So I think she did. The bed we have is this cunky design, nothing fits on it, not mobiles or the rail cushions. It was real annoying trying make everything work when she was a baby. Never buy a bed just cause it is cute LOL.
