I've lurked around here a little (no kids, no plans for kids), and I've noticed some talk about breach babies. Much of the time, a doctor will want to do a C-Section or try to manually turn the baby.

I wanted to tell you about an alternative technique. Manual manipulations can be very painful and can harm the baby. My chiropractor does the Webster Breach technique. All he does is adjust the pelvis in a certain spot, which creates more room for the baby. Shortly after the adjustment, the baby usually flips itself. Sounds weird, but he has a very high success rate.

I was talking to him about it a few days ago over the phone. I used to work for him, but I've since moved. And he said that if you're interested, you can go to his website. He has some info about it there. He also said you can call him if you want him to refer you to a chiro in your area that can do the technique. He's in Palatin, IL. A Chicago suburb.

I was born in the good old days when breech babies were delivered naturally. I came into the world feet first to an audience of 20 or so student doctors who'd never seen a breech delivery. I don't think my Mum was particularly impressed!
