Awww thanks girls!

I had a doc appointment yesterday to discuss a version: I refuse to do it. The main reason is fetal stress, which could end up in an emergency c-section. So i've opted out of that and into a scheduled c-section (i don't know the exact date yet...but it will be before the 6th) so that he can stay in there and develop as much as possible. If I did a version they'd want to do it as soon as this friday. He's not ready to come out this friday!!! I just don't want to take that chance yanno? I want to make sure his lungs are developed ( i mean especially him being a winter baby!). I can deal with a c-section if I know it's comming, so I've been reding up on it and everything, I can deal with it, as long as I know my baby is going to be healthy in the end.So I went in for an ultrasound (last tuesday) and they discovered he's about 7lbs already! I was told the chances of him turning on his own were very slim due to his size. The doctor suggested I burn some funky herb between my toes. I laughed. My husband laughed. it was funny. the doctor just looked at us like we were crazy.

no but seriously...he does the coolest thing ever, when he stretches his hands out I can REALLY feel it, individual fingers! I can count his fingers by pressing my hand up against my belly when he stretches out! It's the freakest coolest most awesome thing in the world! My husband was freaked out about it, he didn't belive me until I showed him.

So, if I go into labor they'll do a c-section (unless he turns...which would be like a miracle or something at this point). I checked out the c-section rooms and picked one out (it's a lot like a birthing room, with lots of room, only even bigger and I stay in the same room to recover in, they take out all the crap when the c-section is done) my husband will still be allowed to cut the cord, in fact he'll be able to see everything (if he wants too). They only take the baby long enough to suction out his lungs and do some small tests (due to the GD) and then they bring him right back in again, which my husband will be allowed to acompany him at all times when he's away from me. I'll stay for three days, or more if needed, and I'll have a nurse come and check on me in a week to help out if I need her.

So yeah, as soon as I know the date, I'll let you guys know...although I was told it could be any day now!
ANY DAY NOW.

I still have a few things I have to get, my husband is awesome though, we are taking this weekend and doing everything we need to do to get ready for baby (i've had my bag packed for like 2 weeks now...I'm such a dork!).
He's already doing laundry and cooking (okay so he doesn't do dishes...he's not perfect!) and vacuming. It's so sweet!

it'll be good to know ahead of time about the c-section, and it will go so smoothly and quickly! i'm so excited for you!!!!!!! i love the fact that ethan's head didn't get squished coming out the birth canal, and i keep saying that's why he's such a clever boy ;)
i completely agree with your decision not to try an aversion. it looks so scary! from what i've seen, it would be very painful for you as well.
it takes a long time to heal from a c-section, so don't you lift a finger for house work or anything for at LEAST 6-8weeks. k? just focus on logan and healing yourself :)
