I edited my answer though. "Over" makes more sense than "into" if you think of it as an actual math equation...

I shouldn't have started reading this thread right before bed.

I dunno... 6 = ONCE means ELEVEN in Spanish, 4:56 5 + 6 = 11. Is that it?

haha! I have to go to bed too. I'll come back tomarrow when all the @forumz brains solve it for me. Then I'll e-mail Tracy the answers, pretending I did it all by myself. :D

25 = NOON
27 = envelope

Oooh, I worked out 8!

It's "painless operation"
(the letters, p,a,i,n are missing from operation.)

TheSkeptic

Ok, so if you write out 5, you spell it
FIVE.
Take away half of it, (the F and E) and you're left with IV, which is Roman Numeral IV??? I dunno if that's how you do it though. Ok, must work now!

#26= eye

I still don't get #27.
Thanks again for the help.

Thought that I would bump this up since some were having so much fun with trivia. Here are some new mind teasers:

(1) There's one "sport" in which neither the spectators nor the participants know the score or the leader until the contest ends. What is it?

(2) What famous North American landmark is constantly moving backward?

(3) Of all vegetables, only two can live to produce on their own for several growing seasons. All other vegetables must be replanted every year. What are the only two perennial vegetables?

(4) Name the only sport in which the ball is always in possession of the team on defense, and the offensive team can score without touching the ball?

(5) What fruit has its seeds on the outside?

TheSkeptic

No, 26 is envelope :) begins with an e, ends with an e and contains one letter (as in the written kind, not the alphabet.)

27 is because every one of those words begins with e??

Your new questions,
5 is a strawberry :)

Now I get why it's envelope, since you explained it. :D

You got #5 right too.

"NOON" is not the same upside down. The only possible answers that I can think of are BOB, BOOB, and DID.

on the new one...#3- isn't one of them asparagus?
I didn't/don't know any of these except 5! I like the first ones best! They made me feel smart!!! :e

it is the same upside down mate! And it is the answer. I've known that one since I was a kid.

It appears that you are incorrect. Flip the N, and the slash .. \ will appear as so .. / [bang]

You don't "mirror image" it...you "turn" it upside down.
