Be sure to let you vag "air out."
Like, sleep w/o underwear n stuff.

I had this once for about a week and I thought I would go crazy and rip the entire area out. It was my shower gel, one from the Body Shop. I avoid any type of bodywash from them now, any other brand does not affect me at all. I tried changing everything, fabric softener, laundry detergent, and it all stopped once I stopped using my shower gel from the Body shop.

I had this sort of thing since I was about 13.

Firstly, some inept trainee nurse told me I had herpes, and that there was nothing I could do about it.

Then I was examined recently, and was told it was a fungal infection, sort of like Athlete's foot (too much exercise in the muff area then). Thrush can also make you itch outside your vag, but I used to scratch till I broke the skin.

I've been using Canesten cream on it anyway, and considering I've been like this for nearly 15 years, it seems to have cleared it up, although I've gotten into the habit of scratching it now.

It's nothing to do with being clean or dirty, and it's pretty gross. My muff didn't think it would ever get to know you all this well, but there you go.

Me and her are signing out ;G

pantyliners make me itch as well, so I try and avoid using them. But it sounds like you've had this for such a long time, have you seen a doctor? I know how horrible this must be for you.

i've always been too embarrased to ask a doctor about it. the feminine wash has been helping A LOT. i use it whenever i feel like i'm gonna start itching and it makes me feel a lot better.

I was just feeling a lot braver than usual one day and got it checked by the dr.

My dr told me not to use any scented soaps, and she even told me not to use wipes, although I'm sure if they're made for the genital area they won't be bad (they're working for you anyway). She told me to use aqueous cream. As far as I know this is like an unperfumed cream, so I don't know how you're supposed to wash with it.

Canesten is over the counter in the UK, but I'm not sure about elsewhere. :)
