So Jack's birthday is the 23rd. I've got an Airplane Party theme rolling around in my head. I'm ordering an airplane cake pan off the internet (the only place I can find it) It's a small pan so I figure I'll make 2 or 3 or even 4 of 'em and decorate them in different colors and such. Other than that though I can't find any other airplane themed decor. I don't think I'm gonna have time to create much of it since we're in PA and his party is in NY (were the family is). Any one know where I can find or easily make decorations and favors and such with an airplane theme? To top it off, i sent out the invites about 3 weeks ago with an RSVP date of the 4th. We haven't gotten a single response yet...NOT ONE! I know the definites of course, my sister, mother & father, Sean's sisters, grandma, uncles. That's only 11 altogether and we invited 60. I also know the definite no shows, my sister & brother-in-law in Seattle and my aunt & uncle. That leave about 45 or so invites that have not been responded to yet. RUDE!!!!

Oh my! 60 people? That's quite an undertaking!

Oh. http://www.airshow.com has some airplane-themed party favours. Also, here's a link to the Birthday Express Jets theme page: http://www.birthdayexpress.com/bexpress/product.asp?sku=27561

Hope that helps. :)

We invited some insane amount of people too--but we know that 1/3 of them were the "courtesy invites". The people you know can't/won't come but would feel insulted that you didn't invite them.

We put our rsvp date as the 19th (the party is on his actual birthday, the 26th) and so far, other than us 29 people will be here (20 adults and *eep* 9 kids!)
