View Full Version : The baby's growing too fast!
Seems not so long ago that she was just an infant. And now, look at her. I don't know whether to be excited, or sad.

She is *so* adorable, ej. Does she take dance classes? My daughter just started taking ballet over the summer and really enjoys it. They look so cute and feminine in their little pink tights and such, don't they? ;)
And they do seem to grow at warp speed when they get that age. One day you look at them and see a "baby", the next day you see a "kid". Plus they really start to express and assert themselves in more effective ways, so you see more and more of their personality shining through. bear is absolutely right, this time is full of very bittersweet moments. It's awesome to see them grow and become their own person, but there's definitely some sadness, knowing they'll never be your baby in quite the same way again.

Actually I prefer kids to babies so I'm excited about raising my son right now. He's so inquisitive and apt to learning as much as he can. I try not to get caught up in the saddness of passing ages. Your daughter is beautiful :)

She'll enjoy the classes for that reason if for none other. ;l
I try not to get caught up in the saddness of passing ages. That's a good way to think about it. It is hard, though. :)
yeah i grounded my son from growing up years ago. he's been rather insubordinate on that note. he was the cutest little baby, now he's in kindergarten.

Aw, Ej she's so pretty! My son is 4 and he's just getting so big now. We were watching Clifford the Big Red Dog on tv the other day, which used to be one of his favorite shows, and he said to me "Mom, this is silly. Dogs can't really talk!" I cried for like an hour after that.
