I posted these in OIT a few months back, when they were new, but i feel like posting them again...

This started out as just futzing around with our digital camera, but I actually like how some of them turned out. I think there are a few good album covers in here:

My what big eye you have! :e
[that's what that is in the last one, right?]

nope. 8o)

It's actually a vial of fragrance (seen from the bottom) and my forefinger... It's actually part of what I was trying to do- make ordinary things look rather bizarre, or just totally unrecognizable.

What kind of camera did you use?

I would like to see more. :)

Hi, Brian, I see that you're were here now .
I think you shouldn't worry about using the flash so much. Also, in conjunction with that, try using natural light as the source. It will make quite a difference. To me they are just really unfocused, but you said that you were trying to go for an unrecongizable perspective. This can still be gained with better lighting and focus. Keep practicing! :)
It might also just be the camera you're using. Like Zara asked, what cam?

im with catch on that--there are a couple of photogrophers out there (im bad with names) who do a great job with different perspective and unrecognizables and it's usally by filling the frame with the pattern of said object. like 0074 looks like it could be a fan or something but sharp lines wouldve been pleasing. its good compositional ideas though. not like im some expert but well i am always one to offer up and opinion ;)
