I know you guys have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to these things. What are the best sites for looking up names and meaning of names, particularly irish-scottish names?

There has got to be a site out there somewhere.

Just kidding. I don't know of any Irish/Scottish baby name sites, or any baby name sites for that matter. Of course I have to ask why you need to be looking up baby names, Ms. Shea?

I've no non-lame Web sotes to report, but I do have a suggestion for a beautiful Scottish name for a girl.
If Ethan had been a girl, he might well have been Islay. (EYE-LEE)
Islay is a Scottish island. It's beautiful.

i'm in love with finnian for a boy, or even just finn. i like aoife for a girl, but i would never use that name here in america because i don't think anyone knows how to pronounce it correctly.

ive got the only baby name suggestion you will ever need:

do NOT name your child jayden, kayden, hayden, layden or any interesting spellings of the like. they will be one of ten in their class from now until doomsday.
point taken! I don't particularly care for those names anyhow. ;)

I love the names: Lachlan (boy) Wynn (girl) Murron (girl)
