Hi, I am new here, so I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Kym, I have 5 children. 4 boys and a girl. I am in school and stay pretty busy, I dont have time to meet many people, so I thought it would be nice to be able to talk to other parents.

Hello. We have a lot of mommies-to-be at the moment, some who are ready to pop any day now. I'm 27 weeks pregnant with my first baby, a little girl. One thing I like about this forum is that experienced moms can offer up helpful tips and such when anyone has a question.

I love your name...reminds me of this running joke me and my hubby have. If someone does something to him he doesn't like, he will say "Kym did that once" ...pause.."once." I love the name Gavin, you don't hear that a lot.

hehe thanks, it's actually part of a tori amos song.
I [heart] the name Gavin too! ;) It's so fitting for him.

Hello there! I'm Lisa and I'm 7 months pregnant today, actually. I'm sure you have some good advice to give us moms to be!

Congratulations to both of you! Not to much farther Lisa, the last two months will fly by! Benaiah, Jeraiah and Josaiah are all biblical names although I cannot remember the exact meanings. Jaikobe (pronounced like Jacoby)is an alternate form of Jacob. I dont know where Shammond came from, lol, I think my hubby named him after a basketball player. I just wanted to give my kids something different, so that they didnt have 6 other kids in the class with their name.
How old is everyone here? I am 26. Is anyone from the east coast? I am in North Carolina.

They definately keep me on my toes. Mostly they are good kids though. I also have a great husband who helps out a lot. I think I would be gray by now if he wasn't here.
