Thank god!!! he is so handsome and healthy. My h2o broke on wednesday 7-13 am; went to the hospital, labored for 24 hrs, pitocin didn't work so i had a c-section on thursday am @ 11:30. It was not bad, i was glad when i could stop the demerol drip (and i never thought i'd say that). We stayed at the hospital until sunday and now we're home. Kristen, i hope to god you have someone to help you because as awesome and beautiful and amazing as they are, it is kind of a kick in the head!!! :) I wish i had more time to write but i have to sleep when he sleeps because he likes to be fussy from about 1am to 4. I would go through labor for 5 more days just to be able to have to stay awake with him while he cries if i had to. Does that make sense? probably not, i haven't slept in forever, but what i mean is it is all worth it.

Congratulations :) My baby's birthday is today but he isn't a baby anymore. He's a 6 year old big kid now. Hold on to that baby and give him lots of love and kisses and hugs. They grow up too quickly.

yeah, the whole sleeping thing, not really happening. He's colicky or just plain fussy from anywhere between 1 and 6 am. I just nurse him all night and watch bad movies and the discovery channel. He is so amazing.

the c-section didn't suck that bad at all. The anesthesiologist was this big funny fat guy who was probabaly my favorite person in the hospital. He was telling me all the drugs he put in me and just cracking jokes the whole time. He was in the operating room too still making us laugh. I was a little worried that i would be so out of it i wouldn't be able to take care of him or hold him; i didn't realize the drugs would wear off pretty much within an hour. The only part that sucked was i didn't get to hold him right away, i slept for an hour and then when i went back to my room the nurse gave him to me. I'm sucha paranoid worrywart though, i'm just glad he's healthy.

I'm gonna see if i can upload pictures, i'm not the most computer literate person in the world but i will try. He's so cute, he looks just like me and nothing like his dad. ;) He's so strong too, he can lift his head up and push himself up on his arms. Even the doctor was like, Oh my god! His dad is a brute though. His mom ain't no weakling herself. :) So i'll try to get pics up soon after i sleep.

Congratulations! I totally remember all night nursing in the beginning while watching bad infomercials. I hope your incision heals well.
