We've been assigned to Cartagena. My agency says that will receive our referral between 2 weeks and 3 months from now! can you believe that? Most families wait around two months. I started a new counter! I edited the other "My Wait" thread to include the counter as well.
Soon we'll find out if we have a son or daughter and his/her age. They'll be anywhere between 2-12 months!
Anybody want to make guesses on if we are getting a girl or a boy? My heart tells me a girl. I want a girl to be honest, but then i feel bad for wanting a girl. I'll love my son just the same of course. I like our names for girls better. then again, i like the idea of having a grown up son....they generally adore their mothers! arugh!!!! :D

You'd be a great mom to either, I know. :)
p.s. I think little boys are snugglier, but little girls are fun to dress up! That's just me, though - either way you're going to have fun. ;)

Two weeks to three months. Wow, good luck.
I said girl, IMO there are more girls names than boys to pick from that I like.

I've always kinda thought you would be assigned a girl. Don't know why. I'll laugh heartily if I'm wrong. You will be a most excellent mommy to a boy or a girl. I am really glad you got this news. It's one step closer to bringing baby entropy home!

I'm guessing boy, but that just may be because all I know are baby boys!

Awesome! I'm not asking you to tell us your names, but I was wondering if you planned on sharing them with your family members. My sister has told me and my mother-in-law what name she's picked out for her baby boy, but she likes keeping it a secret from everyone else.
I saw on another messageboard where a woman was upset because her family didn't like the name she picked out for her baby. Another poster responded by saying when people asked what she's going to name the baby she tells them "Phuc," which apparently means "blessing" in Vietnamese. Shuts people right up.

we thought we were decided on names and i let them slip to my mom! she liked them, but since then we've changed them! :) second thoughts and all. I started liking names that more or less rolled of my tongue and ease of saying them then the more sophisticated names from before. lol!
My husband and i still don't agree 100% on a name for a boy, but i THINK and HOPE we got it figured out.
We learned that we will probably be spending a month in Colombia. We are excited to do just that, but the hotel bill is going to be outrageous!

How are things going, entropy? I suppose you'll be hearing any day now on all your baby's info and when you'll be going to Columbia. I can't wait for you to know these things! Makes me feel all mushy and happy when I think about how long you've been waiting.

2 months since assigned to Cartagena!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So we should get a referral anytime! however, recently, families have been waiting up to 4 months! this is starting to make me so nervous!
