Hey everybody,
I was an active member of this board years ago and I didn't know that this place had a forum for parents! I'm so excited to have found it.
I'm a new first time mommy and my little boy was born on June 1st. He's a big boy! He was 8lbs 13oz at birth. And at his last weigh in was 14 and a half lbs.
I just wanted to introduce myself quickly. I hope to participate regularly on this board!!

Welcome! I come to this board more as a lurker than a poster, but I post, too! Usually just pictures of my daughter, Adrienne. She was born March 27th. She's 5 months old. Do you have pictures of your son? What's his name?

I just posted pictures in the other thread. His name is Darren Kevin. It's been such a joy. It's a lot of work! He's finally down for a nap now, he's been tough getting to sleep this afternoon!

Welcome to the Parents Pad!
Post as much as you want cause we've all been a bit quiet lately.
I'm the mod here, so just lemme know if you have any questions or suggestions for the forum. There's a great group of folks here.
Glad you found us!

Welcome and congrats on your special delivery! My husband and I are expecting our first baby, a boy, on October 13th. :)

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome!! I'm so happy to have found this forum. I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions when it comes to that whole teething thing. I have nightmares about it.
And last night I had a dream that my son didn't discover his hands until he was 15 months old!! He's so close to discovering them, I just feel like it's taking forever!

Last night I had a dream that Adrienne woke up with all of her molars, but none of her front teeth. It was freaky. lol

I remember you from before! Congrats on your son! I was 9 lbs, 2 oz when I was born (mom had gestational diabetes that she didn't manage so 3 lbs was water weight--I was born bloated!). My husband and I are expecting a baby girl (Gwendolyn) on October 22nd, but we're pretty darn certain that she'll make an early appearance.
