It is a wonder.

I sit here, 5 weeks after and look at my flabby tummy. I wonder how she ever fit in there. I have this little flap of skin that hangs over, thank you c section scar!!

I gained 1 pound during pregnancy and lost 30 pounds afterwards. My ass is non existant. And where did my tits go? I am full of milk, and yet they aren't huge and big.

i look like i have had the fat sucked from my body and now i just have skin left over.

I'm sorry, this has nothing to do with the topic, but every time I see your avatar I cannot stop smiling. It's so awesome!

How did I do it?

I sat on my ass and did nothing, much like my pregnancy.

Seriously, breastfeeding did alot of it.

But I guess I was just lucky that the baby relied alot on my stored fat to get her stuff from. Because I ate like a pig during my pregnancy and just didnt gain.

I gained 30 some lbs while I was pregnant and lost it all and then some afterwards. My heaviest when I was pregnant was 165 and lost an initial 20 after the birth. At my lowest I was 130. Then I met my boyfriend... and it was all up from there. But I have boobs now (and I didn't even breastfeed). And I've lost 45 lbs since the beginning of the year, which is awesome 'cept all my jeans are falling off me now. Which means my huge ass hangs out because that's something I'll never lose (Thanks Mom! aka genetics). But that's okay because my overall self image isn't plaguing me. Just my mind :)

How 'bout I eat for you and you gain the weight and I lose it? I think about food and I tend to gain weight. You're lucky genetically.

I gained 40lbs while pregnant and have lost all but 14lbs. I was a big girl before I got pregnant so I've got a lot of weight to get off.

Breastfeeding has helped to keep the weight from piling. If not for breastfeeding I would be gaining weight since I've not changed my eating habits all that much since the baby has been born.

I have been dieting, but there have been so many summer events and I'm weak so it's hard to stay away from the good food.

I struggle with not eating chocolate and Darren handles it really well, but when he's cranky and fussy I can usually tell it's a stomach ache from chocolate that was just to rich for him!

The post body is amazing. Mine personally is disgusting, stretch marks covering just about every inch. But my husband still loves me and that's all that really matters.

Wow, we're the same height. I lost around 30 pounds before getting pregnant. I was about 160 prepregnancy and am now 178. I've gained 18 pounds so far. Not bad for 34 weeks. Lately, I've barely been able to eat anything because I've been so sick. Plus, the Procardia they gave me to stop preterm labor gives me such awful headaches that I get nauseous and don't want to eat. Not good for gestational diabetes. My blood sugars keep getting too low. I'm scared of the loose, flabby stomach that comes post-delivery. I plan on getting one of those post-partum support belts.

Yes, I've always gotten a lot of unwanted attention/coddling because I'm small. I feel like such a hippo at this point. It's so awful needing help to get up from the couch which likes to swallow anyone who sits on it. Doesn't help that my hips are widening as delivery gets closer. I avoid mirrors and large panes of reflective glass as much as possible.

After pregnancy, I'm going to keep on my gestational diabetes diet it's a pretty healthy diet and exercise plan. I am determined to get down to a nice 125 lbs. I have a large-boned structure, and I'm quite muscular so I'll never be a waif.

It's astounds me that you could only gain 1 lb with your pregnancy- no wonder you lost all that weight! Breastfeeding requires higher caloric intake than when pregnant.

I gained 67 lbs with my first pregnancy ( I was 135 to start) then lost half with the first six months then struggled with 15 more, only to get pregnant again 12 months later and put all of it and 6 lbs more back on! I cried when the scale in my OBGYN's office peaked at 208!

After 5 years I am still 155 lbs. Thank goodness I'm 5'9"- I sometimes think I'm still fat, but my hubby reminds me how much he likes me at this weight.

I gained about 30 pounds for both pregnancies. I didn't lose as much after my son though. Since I am a big girl anyway (though people say I hardly look my weight) it didn't really matter. However for my daughter, it was another ball game. I've lost all the pregnancy weight thanx to breastfeeding. And I've just joined Curves and am aiming for a 50 pound loss (in a year).
What I hate about my post pregnant body is two c-sections later, I am left with what I call an 'apron' around my lower belly. I have this excess fat that I can't get rid of - no matter the amount of exercises I do. And of course, the size of my breasts has made me unhappy. I had nice boobs before I got pregnant. After my son, they got HUGE and hardly went down afterwards. Four years later, I got pregnant with my daughter and I was afraid that my breasts would get even bigger. But no, they remained the same. But since I started Curves, I've lost about 2 cups in my breast size.

i'm 24 weeks and have gained 2 lbs. I'm hoping to have a story where I lose more weight than I had to begin with! :) I'm overweight to begin with so my stored fat goes to baby instead of gaining extra. I'll let ya know in a few months ;)

Well I was at the well baby check today and was very happy to see all the other mommies of babies my age (12 wks) are still carrying their muffin tops. So I don't feel so bad. I am losing, but slowly! I'm not worried yet, though, 9 months on, 9 months off is the general rule. Sigh.

i think i have gained since having max... all i do is sit around and hold him and eat. in the middle of the night when i get up with him i have to eat, just to like, get something out of it. i don't eat carrots, either, i eat bullshit like combos and rice crispie treats. basically i'm a lardass. gotta fix that.
