She's 17 months old and beautiful!! We hope to travel to Colombia in the next 2-3weeks. Her name is Mariana Christina!

yey! huge congrats to you! One of my mother-in-law's best friends adopted a little girl from columbia almost a year ago and she's super sweet and their trip down to pick her up went better than expected (the baby was there at the airport!) so I hope your trip is that same, or better!

Congratulations!!!!!

I was totally thinking about you this weekend! We had someone come buy our old crib bedding and the guy mentioned they needed to get stuff quickly because they were leaving for China in 2 weeks to pick up their little girl. I couldn't help but smile and say that I knew someone who was waiting to hear when they'd be getting their baby from Columbia. :)

Ooh! They have been e-mailing me what they have been up to...I thought she was around here as well. She's had her girl for maybe two weeks now? I believe she's still in Colombia.

I could post pics and the e-mails, but that's not up to me. I'll say, though, she's fucking happy and I'm fucking happy for her. She doesn't know when she'll be back in the US.

wow, thanks for posting that ben!!!! :D We are still in Colombia. Our hotel has wireless internet, but reception is crappy and at 15 dollars a day, we only get the internet about once a week! we've been going to cafe's for the mass emailings!

thanks for thanking of us everyone! Mari is doing fantastic. She just attached to me with little problem. i was very tired the first two weeks as she was warming up to my husband, but now its calmed down and everything is great. we are all still adjusting but our problems are normal adjustment to any change nothing major at all. if you go to the website posted in the begining of this thread you should be able to see new pictures, i think. if not, ben can post a few!!!
my time is about to run out!!! i'm ready to leave Cartagena. its nice at first but imagine being trapped in Disney World. its fun at first but then boring....
