I don't know how much you guys have control of now, what with Martin off sunning himself covered in prostitutes or something, idk. But is there any way we can have that feature back where in someone's profile there's a list of their previous usernames? I've not been about for long and I can't keep track of who was who and who was lovely and who was a dick. Like who the fuck is this ebby guy anyway?

No but seriously, is there any way for that to come back as it was very handy and I've not been about for a while.

I outright demand that this is made public!

Ebby, whoever he is, is quite good at poking about in the control panels for the forum, so hopefully he'll have some ideas as to how we can go about this. Unfortunately, we are a number of updates behind in our vBulletin, and the only one able to do those updates is Martin. So my guess is that we will not currently have the capability to do that. But we will check into it!

In my own limited poking about, I have found that we do have "Previous Username" enabled in the User Profile page, but I don't think it shows up unless there is something entered in the field. I don't think we can retroactively have everyone update it, but perhaps when people request a name change, we could ask that they add their previous name to that part of their profile?

Cool. I'll poke around in the morning and see what is up, but I think we lost that feature the last time the forum software was upgraded. I'll have a chat with Ryan - as he runs a forum using the same software - and see what we can come up with.

So I've added a bit to my post about Username Change Requests. Still not sure what we can do as regards people who have already changed their names, but we'll try and figure out if it's still something we can do.
