To me, Madonna and Tori are both extremely important.

madonna because she makes headonistic, ebullient pop records which capture our time and are simply great fun!

Tori because she delves deeper, transcending the music industry, other artists and tapping into a deep source of inspiration and inner logic

Don't you think that Madonna is "tapping into a deep source of inspiration and inner logic" somewhat lately? Not as much as Tori...but still. She seems to have become more of a deep-thinker since becoming a mom.

And, yeah...I like Madonna. I love Tori. :)

I agree. I love and have a deep respect for both Tori and Madonna.

I also think that Madonna has been going deeper ever since motherhood. It suits her as well as earlier, fun work.

Im a new Madonna fan here (only have music as of now) and love it. Im only familiar with her hit singles behind Music but I have to say that I love love love Music right now and it puts me into the mood that a few, mostly female, singers put me into such as Tori. I was extremely impressed..but I dont know if starting at Music and moving backwards would be the best thing for a new fan.

I think Music is an amazing album, but Ray of Light is my definate fave

I think it bears a resemblance to FTCGH by Tori
