I am curious:

1. How much makeup do you wear?

2. How often do you wear it? Every day? Just when you go out? To work? To school?

3. Do you wear cause you think you need to or just cause it is fun/for the hell of it?

Afew of my friends wear it every single day, even if they are just staying at home, bumming around. I find this odd, yet I am the odd one out cause I don't wear it to university or when I am just hanging around or shopping, I only wear it to work and when I go out at night. Sometimes I wear it to school when my skin is bad or I look really pale or something.

I wear foundation everyday, because I think I need it

I wear light eyeliner, sometimes light eyeshadow, and mascara, almost everyday, because it is fun.

sometimes when I am going out or feeling a bit artsy I go crazy with makeup, just for fun...

as for nailpolish (if that counts) I usually stay the hell away from it because I'm lazy and I just let it chip off...

i wear eyeliner, eye shadow, and lipstick or lip gloss of some sort.. i dont like foundation, i used to wear but then i stopped and my complection got alot better, plus i dont like the way it feels on my face, or the idea of putting that stuff on my face.

I wear it whenever i am going out or having someone come over

i wear it mostly because its fun, but sometimes i feel like i "need" it too

every day, well, every time I leave the house. Well, not true, just MOST of the time I leave, but I don't really care about the grocery store or I don't know. I wear it cause I think I look lots better with it.

1. I wear that 3 in one stuff from Cover Girl, the foundation concealer and powder in one thingie, since I have red blotches from acne. Then I usually wear lipstick and/or lip-gloss. Now it's time for eyes. If I don't wear any lip colour, I go very dramatic on my eyes, but if I wear dark lip stick I'll usually go for no eye makeup at all. But if I am dramatic, I wear pencil liner on my bottom rim, either blue or black, then I usually line the top with blue or black liquid (i love radium by urban decay), and then I usually use a base of silver or gray, and brush out the corners lightly with navy, deep green, or black. It's not too much, but it looks subtly exotic.

2. The only days I don't wear makeup are the days I don't leave the house.

3. I originally started wearing makeup because I wasn't happy with my skin, so it basically started with just foundation, since I have really bad acne (or used to). Then it turned into making myself look glamorous, and I must say, makeup has enhanced my self esteem. Now I wear it to a) make myself feel confident b) make myself be beautiful as I can be and c) I'm semi-goth/artsy my own little dark faerie thing goin' on. Makeup really works with that. :]

On work days (M-F) I wear light foundation under my eyes so I don't look like a corpse, as well as blush and mascara. Ocassionally I'll wear eyeshadow or eyeliner too...just depends if I feel like putting it on.

On weekends, if I'm not going anywhere other than maybe Wal-Mart, I don't wear any at all...my husband doesn't even notice if I have it on or not, so who do I have to impress??

If I'm going somewhere special and I want to look "made-up", I will wear lipstick. Otherwise, I don't mess with it, cause it's a pain in the ass. :p

LOL I guess I am the classic example of "letting yourself go" after getting married .. I used to wear full makeup (foundation, powder, blush, eyeshadow, lipstick, mascara
etc.) but now I really never wear any.

I'll put on makeup if hubby and I are going out on a 'date', but other than that, I never really wear any.

Well, I used to wear it all the time because I had convinced myself that I was some hideous being, and that the world was not fit to be seen without a mask of makeup. But then I got over it ... :e
So now I'll just put if on if I want to look extra-special. :)

I suppose I should answer my own questions. To work I wear foundation, blush, mascara and lipgloss. To uni I don't wear any usually. When I go out I go the whole way, with eyeliner and either purpley eyeshadow and pink lipstick or goldy eyeshadow with an orangey/brown lipstick, usually with Poppy Shine in 24K over it. :) :l

I hate the way I feel when I put on foundation/powder, so I stay away from it unless there's a formal occasion I'm attending.

I like eyeliner and eyeshadow, but I'm embarrassingly awful at putting it on myself. Strangely enough, I can do a good job of putting it on other people.

Lipstick and lip gloss are nifty, although I don't wear them too often. They're a lot of fun every once in awhile. ;k

I wear very little. I only wear undereye concealer EVERY DAY cuz i have pale skin and get dark circles..usually thats all i wear to college, but for work i wear eyeliner, mascara and sometimes eyeshadow. i rarely wear foundation. i never wear lipstick, i like bright red lipstick but it would look ridiculous on me.
going out, i usually have my fun with blue, purple and green shades of eyeshadow and lots of eyeliner.

I don't wear it at home unless I'm having people over or taking pics...or certain occasions when I just feel like putting it on and staring at myself in the mirror (I am weird).

I don't put it on just to go to drive thrus and liquor stores...LOL.

I usually always wear makeup if I am going anywhere at all important or interacting with people.

I don't wear it because I hate the way I look without it...I wear it because I just like to express myself that way and I really enjoy everything about it.
I love being sexy and glam.
It's one of my forms of creative expression.

A. my mood
B. the occasion/where I'm going
C. what I'm wearing
That can be anything from a bit of mascara and lipgloss...to shit that would put drag queens to shame.

i wear make up when i go somewhere... i change it everytime i wear it :0 some variety. sometimes i get bored, so i just put on make up.... i dont care if i need it, sometimes i look like i do, and sometimes i just dont want to bother. i hate eye liner and mascara, but sometimes i wear em anyway.. i love to wear glitter!

I usually don't wear make up.. but there are certain places where I feel self concious if I'm not wearing it.. like school... parties.. the mall.. so when I go to these places, I usually put on some powder.. eyeliner.. lipliner.. and lipstick.. I don't look right (or good) with any more on than that.. I've got the natural look going on, I guess... :)

NEVAH! Okies, mebbe once a month to make sure I can still apply it properly. When I have enuff motivation or give a dern about what peeps tink of me. Which is rarrrrrrrrrrely. I look like schitt and I like it! Mmm, go ahead resist me, I dare ya.

I used to wear it becuz I am quite atrocious witout it. Vell I am still purtee atrocious wit it, but it made me feel a bit betta and yanno, I wuz bein' more considerate of otters. Har har. But yah, I used to wear it because I believe I need it. I still believe I need it, but I derno. I got annoyed of da weather constantly makin' it all icky and of constantlee touchin' it up. I haven't been sleepin' muchos latelee so da extra 10 minutes I git to sleep fer not wearin' make-up is worth it to me. Yesh? It's kinna funny, my mum used to jokingly call me a whore becuz of my make-up (she likes da natural look or sumfrin) and now she begs me to put on at least some lipstick. Har har, it's either all or nufrin!

if i am going to work. and they told me i need to wear make up ( i work in a beauty salon) all i do is curl my eyelashes(because that makes all the differnece on your eyes) black mascara and some red tinted lip gloss

i have pale skin freckles and green eyes, so i dont like to take away from those. and if i do wear more i just put on some shimmery eyeshadow

i wear it...if i am going out...but even then..my makeup consists of...powsder.... pink shimmer eyeshadow...glitter everywhere...and lipgloss...im rather sparkly but...not alot of makeup...though sometimes...i love to get completely utterly...madeup....but not often...

I have really sensitive skin. Before last summer, my skin problems were always enhanced or I'd develop new ones, every time I wore make-up. I'd either get a rash or a burn or a lot more acne than usual. On prom night, my face looked and felt like I had a sunburn because of the "hypoallergenic" makeup I bought. :s grrrrr.... But then, I found Proactiv solution (the acne stuff they sell on tv...they make makeup now too!) Since then, I've actually been able to wear makeup. I only wear it for work, special occasions, or when my skin looks really bad. :p

Seriously, though.... I wear at least moisturizer and foundation every day.. usually mascara and lipstick too.. only if I know I'm leaving the house. If I don't, screw it. :D

I also think I look like shit without it.... well, I am becoming more confident about that....My ex actually hated me wearing makeup and thought I looked better without it. And I had a picture taken of me w/no makeup (Well, foundation.. because my skin is bad) and I like it... so I've become more confident w/not wearing it. I used to not go anywhere w/out it on, but I'm getting better. Anywho, I wear foundation, powder, eyeshadow, liquid liner and mascara... sometimes lipstick, and sometimes blush... it just depends.

Oh yeah, and it's not about other people... I do it for myself... because of how I feel.

I'd do this if I was going to be seen in public, and that includes just going to the shop for milk. My main purpose for doing so was to cover up belmishes on my skin. It was almost never about thinking I looked prettier in makeup.
I put myself on the pill mid last year and have blemish free skin now. I do not wear full makeup at all unless it's a special occasion. Most days I go off to work with nothing but a bit of lipgloss. That's mainly because I wake up to late though. I do think that I look brighter and better if a little something's done to my eyes and lips, but as far as wearing foundation goes I am a changed woman. It was REALLY hard to go out sans makeup the first few weeks. I felt so self conscious. Now, I feel so free and fantastic and my pores thank me greatly.
