Does anyone like him?

Hearing his amazing new single "Umi Says" just pulled me in.

Today I got the album.

That's about my first hip-hop record ever, wonder how it will go.

Apart from "Umi says" I also love "Got", "Know That", "Ms. Fat Booty" etc, still have to explore the cd a bit. Was very surprised by the outro to "Rock n Roll"! :D

Some time ago I saw Mos Def interviewed on "4music", he seemed really nice. He said he'd been in a film lately, but I can't remember the name. Anyone?

Come share!

The film is called "Where's Marlowe?" It was released thru Paramount Classics.

He is a super sweet and funny guy!

Maybe I'll check out that Black Star album some time.

On Black On Both Sides Mos does one song with Kweli: Know That, & it's one of the best songs of the album.

Has anyone seen that "Where's Marlowe?" film? (Thanks for the info tweety!) What is it about?

I think Mos Def really has the looks to star in some historical sandals 'n' desert film :D!

it's about a private investigator who is the subject of these two documentary film makers, of whom Mos Def is one.

Sandals and desert...I can see that. :)
