*RUMOR* Madonna's signature songs and wish list for new tour.

Okay guys this in unconfirmed but a fairly reliable source told me this (Im just going to subquote here) ~

William Orbit is on the tour with Madonna. The first song they did was "Candy Purfume Girl" and it looks to be amazing. Its wrapped up at this point.

There seems to be some talk on a medly of some sorts taken from her first album. She starts with "Holiday" and somewhere in the middle breaks off into "Borderline" and sings some lines from "Burning Up" then breaks back into "Holiday". For some reason "Borderline" diddnt seem to be working all that well so the word now is that its going to be scrapped but at this point who knows.

A set has been described and although it sounds kinda cheesy (at this moment) Ill share. It has a tropical feel~ rainforest with bananna tree's?? Weird I know. I hope its not for "Im going Bananna's" as to see that song again would make me *cring*. :m I have a few idea's what that may be for (la isla... To Have and... etc..)

At this moment they are just trying out songs. William Orbit has been brought in to add his touch to older songs. I hope she has a band *praying to the dear lord above* and not some stupid remixer standing on the sidelines with a prerecorded keyboard.

She also said that she will never ever do "Into the Groove" again because of all her songs, she hates that the most. Another song she said she will never do again is "Material Girl". And she said the only song she really feels she can still relate to is "Holiday" so Im sure we can expect that one. Especially since she divulged us at Brixton.

i think it's good that that this tour is happening now instead of right after Ray of Light..because at that time she seemed like she was trying to forget her old songs or something...i think these are all good possibilities:

Who relates to a song like Holiday? Is it really deep enough to "relate" to? LOL! :O

Secondly, I don't think "divulged" is the correct verb. To "divulge" means to "reveal information that is understood to be confidential".

Do you know what I would really love? I'd love to hear her sing a tiny bit of Everybody:
'Dance and sing get up and do your thing!'

And just to repeat that for a while to get everybody going, then the strings from groove armada's remix of music would kick in and eventually 'music' itself would begin.

I agree with her. Not so much about 'Into the Groove' but I can live with never hearing her sing 'Material Girl' or 'Borderline' ever again. Those songs just don't stand up to the tests of time. I was especially disappointed when she wore that "Material Girl" shirt on stage recently. Now 'Holiday' is a classic. Sure, it's off the cuff and light, but that songs makes you get up and do your thing.
By the way, I gotta ask you Startrip80, have you ever seen Madonna live? You say you'd die if she performed 'Deeper and Deeper'. She did during the Girlie Show. It was so cool.
