Just showing my love for a little work of genius. Love this song to death ! The lyrics R so beautifull and dramatic. But does anyone knows the story behind it ( if there's a story behind it... :) ) ?

HI! This is one of my fave songs. Umm it has something to do with a book which im pretty sure is called the book of dreams. Its a story about a boy whose scientist father was taken away by the government for not following some kinda new law thing. At least something kinda like that. Hope i helped.

Yes it's a good song....... but my favorites from "Hounds of Love" are Waking the WItch, and Running up that Hill.

Cloudbusting is based on "The Book of Dreams" by Peter Reich. It's difficult to find because it's out of print but I found it in the library. It's a really gorgeous story -- Peter's autobiography written in dream-like way. If you can find it, definitely read it.

i think i read this in kate's biography, and she was explaining about the book, and said she wanted everyone to write to the publisher and try and get it re-issued. good idea ;)

'hounds of love' is one of my favourite kate albums, although i do prefer 'the ninth wave' as it has a more mystical, darker feel about it

I am such a tool!
You know for a couple of years, I'd just throw on the cd and I NEVER knew the names of the songs. It was just one of those things. It didn't help when she released "The Whole Story" either. I would never know what track to pick out.
To this day, I still get those songs mixed up.
I'll pay more attention next time, I swear.
