So do you, I mean she has been in some duds, but the duds are the ones that I like, I love Who's that girl, Dick Tracy, Four rooms, didnt see Evita yet.

But seriously do you think she gets respect from them

first of all, you haven't seen Evita?! GO GET IT!!!

no, i don't think that Hollywood respects her. i mean, i'm sure they think of her as an incredibly famous woman (love her or hate her, no one can deny that she one HUGE superstar), and they respect her in that sense, but i doubt anyone gives her acting any credibility. hell, even i don't, and i love her to death. it's just that some people can do it, and some people can't. she tries, and i love her for it, but it just doesn't work.

Unfortunately for her, they don't. However, she can't really act. Yeah, she did some good parts, but if you really pay attention she doesn't even act very well in those parts. She's given easy, flaky lines. Evita was beautiful though, but she sang through the whole thing, so it really wasn't "acting".

She has much respect for her super stardom and her business intelligence and I think that's all that really matters.

Yeah, some of her roles are pretty flaky, and she doesn't get respect in Hollywood, but come on. Who can possibly not love her role in A League of Their Own?
