Does "Experiment IV" and the new version of "Wuthering Heights" make this CD worth buying? I would just download those songs to find out for myself, but I am currently unable to download anything because my computer is senile. I remember hearing "Experiment IV" once and I didn't like it very much. But that was a long time ago. *shrug*

Well, as The Whole Story was the first Kate CD I bought (though not the first I heard), I would normally recommend it as way of deciding which of her albums to try next. I'm rather fond of "Experiment IV," however, and I do prefer the new vocal of "Wuthering Heights" to the original. So I suppose I would anwser in the affirmative. :) You might want to try and find it second-hand, though.

I like the album, with the two new songs, but if you don't care 4 buying it, you can always download it, like you said.

Interestingly, a taped copy of The Whole Story got me into Kate Bush, in early 1990... but the actual CD is one of the last Kate items I bought, only a year or so ago. Personally I think it's well worth it for the new version of Wuthering Heights, but especially for Experiment IV. One of Kate's very finest moments, and her very best video. :D
