TeleCharge or TicketMaster for the Boston Show?

how the hell should a Boston Boy like me go about getting tickets....? I never bought tickets before....other people have in the past for me....

According to the Boston Herald, they go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through ticketmaster.....that is confusing cause I thought Telecharge was in charge.....

I am just upset cause I don't know how many to buy or who will be going with me....I just want to FUCKIN' go...y'know.....

hmm i hope they don't go on sale friday cause i have to work and i already went in late today cause i had to get nyc tickets.

this tour just confuses me more every day!

i didnt' know who i was going to be going with either, but i just said screw it, i'm going alone. i'll probably even get a better seat because of it! :)

I just feel like so many things are working against me for this tour....Too bad it wasn't during this summer....I didn't do shit this summer....Concerts in early fall are evil....I am afraid to invite people at school cause I just hate it when people bail out on you for stupid things...like tests or other BS....its called doing your work ahead of time....oh well....I just don't want to assume that my Tori loving friends at school will be able to go with me....cause things don't work out like that....

Well, I spoke to a very nice man at Telecharge this morning. I could barely get out the words "Tori Amos" when he said, "Oh yes...we've been getting a lot of calls on that." Oh boy...this is going to be a mad rush.

Anyway, he said he knew the Herald had reported sales would begin Friday morning but they still had no info on it. He said the producer had to release the tickets before they'd appear on his screen but to feel free to call back and they'd continue to check. I said it probably wasn't true that there would be a second show as the Herald had reported and he said that was a possibility. He said they'd wait to see how the first show did. In other words, if it sells out quickly they'll add the second show.

Translation: there might just be a second show!!!!

He also said "You're calling the right place. We ARE going to be selling them." So I guess that answers the Ticketbastard vs. Telecharge question.

That would be cool, it really, really would be. But the only reason I'd drive to Boston right now would be if tickets were available at the box office ahead of the phone sales. I'll be on the phone tomorrow instead (if they are, indeed, being sold tomorrow.) The timing coincides with when the ex picks up the kids for the weekend. He'll be reminded of one of the things he hates about me ;) In HIS world, one should spent hours on the phone trying to get through to a ticket agency for ANY SHOW BUT TORI.

Hopefully we'll all get tickets and meet at a show. If she's playing two nights, I'm going to try to go to both. I know Creighton is planning on flying east to see a Boston show. Maybe we can all invade a nearby bar :)

Hello Gang: Just spoke with the Wang box office and they said it is Telecharge not Ticketmaster--they didn't know an onsale date, but an operative in my employ just told me it is next friday (Aug 24th); this supposedly came from the Boston Globe--but their record on this has not been good lately. My guess is that this show will rollover for another the next night--although the last time she played the Wang she did two sets in one night! Bjork at the Wang is supposed to go this friday at 1PM EST. This is my first post after years of spying. Keep your knees loose!:b

So they are selling them? I am glad that I won't have to fuck with TicketBastard....and the Herald needs to get their shit straight...I hate that paper....I go through that paper in 2 minutes.....

Has anyone heard about order limits? I want to order 20 good tickets at the same time so all of us from the Boston RAINN part can sit together. I am almost posutive they won't let me do that.
