I downloaded one of their songs on accident a long time and totally dug it so I downloaded more, and they're rad. But I've never heard about them anywhere..... | | | 03-29-2001, 09:23 PM | #2 | | mani@c Join Date: Feb 2000 Posts: 6,122 | If I'm not mistaken, my brother saw them a few years ago as an opening band for someone else... the Foo Fighters maybe? I can't remember. I'll have to see what I can download. | | | 03-29-2001, 10:50 PM | #3 | | Kori with a K Join Date: Oct 1999 Posts: 6,788 | you should try Yoo Hoo and Butch and, i have no idea if they toured with them... | | | 03-30-2001, 12:21 AM | #4 | | So say we all. Join Date: Feb 2000 Posts: 13,345 | Imperial Teen is great. William is a friend of mine. I am happy to see that they've made a name for themselves out there. They're really cool cause they still promote their own shows, and make posters for those shows themselves. I think that's rad. | | | 03-30-2001, 12:43 AM | #5 | | Kori with a K Join Date: Oct 1999 Posts: 6,788 | is William a band member? Yeah, that is rad. Do they tour? You can tell this William fellow that I think Imperial Teen rocks. | | | 04-01-2001, 01:12 PM | #6 | | by the way, my fee is 2.6% Join Date: Jan 2001 Posts: 2,394 | yeah, i downloaded some imperial teen, too, and i loved everything i heard, so i downloaded a lot more. i'm on their mailing list, and apparently the band is part of the list, too, and they occasionally e-mail the list with updates and just chatter. i had no clue they were on the "jawbreaker" soundtrack though. if you haven't seen that movie, see it, and you'll be surprised that they play their song "yoohoo" quite a bit. __________________ soy mega-magnético. | | | 04-01-2001, 07:05 PM | #7 | | The Clique Beast Join Date: Nov 2000 Posts: 6,156 | That's how I heard Yoohoo... they played it during the Jawbreaker commercial (a movie I still haven't seen)... brain. np: Ghoti Hook - All That I Am | | | 04-01-2001, 09:38 PM | #8 | | by the way, my fee is 2.6% Join Date: Jan 2001 Posts: 2,394 | Quote: Originally posted by brain damaged That's how I heard Yoohoo... they played it during the Jawbreaker commercial (a movie I still haven't seen)... | hmm, the movie is pretty good. nothing to jump about, but its worth a rent. __________________ soy mega-magnético. | | | 04-01-2001, 09:58 PM | #9 | | I want only my son Join Date: Mar 2000 Posts: 9,139 | is that the one with rose mcgowan? i thought it sucked. i'm dling "butch" right now. __________________ ........................... | | | 04-01-2001, 10:19 PM | #10 | | by the way, my fee is 2.6% Join Date: Jan 2001 Posts: 2,394 | yeah, it's the rose mcgowan movie. its ok, i think. you should download "lipstick," i always have that song in my head. __________________ soy mega-magnético. | | | 04-01-2001, 10:35 PM | #11 | | I want only my son Join Date: Mar 2000 Posts: 9,139 | i tried to dl 'butch' and there was a transfer error. then i got pissed and logged off. maybe i'll try again tomorrow. | | | 04-02-2001, 12:37 AM | #12 | | Kori with a K Join Date: Oct 1999 Posts: 6,788 | you like strawberries, I like you.... | | | 04-14-2001, 03:19 PM | #13 | | @ctive member Join Date: Sep 2000 Posts: 108 | I LOVE Imperial Teen.
