omg what is this show? I've been watching it on PBS for 7 mins and I have no idea what these people are on. Is that one dude from Drop Dead Fred? I must know about this britcom.

It's an old comedy show from the early 80's it's English, and fucking hilarious!!! MTV used to air it on Sunday nights in 1984-85. I love it!

The Sweet Valley High graphics gave away that it was 80's. I just can't understand what the hell they are talking about. And I'm assuming they are trying to represent the 80's British college kid?

I am just trying to understand, was this supposed to appeal to younger generations (well obviously) but I mean hehe did the British 80's children think this was cool? God I thought Charles in Charge was bad.

Seeing as I live in the US, I don't know whether English kids thought it was cool in the 80s. I assume so...it had more than one season!

Gasp - wash your mouth out! The Young Ones is one of the best British comedies ever. Four disgusting students living in a shit-hole house in London during the '80s. It blended lots of gratuitous violence with a big fuck you to Maggie Thatcher. It was quite surreal at times and featured good bands (Motorhead anyone?). Genius.
