Default Seal, "Seal" (2003)

I'm considering picking this up later today along with the new Sinead O'Connor album. Has anyone else heard it? "Waiting for You" is a great single.

I really love "Human Being." It's a great, underrated album, and the production isn't as fussy as it is on Seal's first few albums. I have mixed feelings about those. "Seal" (1991) has some great songs and some horribly clunky, dated production. "Seal" (1994) is a little too Adult Contemporary/New Age-y in spots for me. "Human Being" finally struck a fine balance between sophisticated pop and actual soul.

No matter what, his singing is exquisite. I'm hoping the new album is good.
