Yes, and sometimes I think it's the best kind...

My (male) friend and I had a relationship like this. About 50% of the time, I adored him, and the other 50% I seriously wanted to smother him with a pillow. But this kept our relationship so dynamic and interesting. I mean, I couldn't do it with everyone, but that kind of drama was fun for a while. Even the parts of his personality that I hated, I respected, and even admired a little. He always kept me on my toes.


But after a while, I realized that a relationship that intense needs some kind of sexual outlet, and I wasn't at all interested in sleeping with him, so eventually it soured. Now it's just kind of hate relationship.
