As much as some people may dread this, I'm guessing they'll probably sound a lot like Scarlet. I mean, TOAL didn't really give any evidence that she was moving towards a vastly new style. So my bet is they'll all have a mellow band sound.

yeah. the new tracks on toal have me worried about the next album. i don't know how i'll react if the album has an angels-esque sound to it, which to me is an entirely different(and worse) sound than scarlet, which i liked anyway.

i'm hoping these new songs actually are more scarlet and less toal-y... if not something completely different and hopefully better.

I think Indian Summer will be just piano and "noises" if you know what I mean - it'll have that sort of weird, strings-liek effects that you have to do synthetically. I can't describe it, but I know what I mean!

I reckon the rest will be band. Ruby could be piano heavy though.

i think most will be piano-centric, probably with subtle "noise" production in the back. but i don't think she's that interested in the big band sound of 98-99 anymore, sadly.

I have a hard time calling SW "band songs" 'cause in my mind choirgirl and Venus were "band albums." SW, not so much...but I don't know that we'll get anything that powerful again.
