| ALWAYS in the Wrong Band Join Date: Jun 2001 Posts: 1,330   |  Wow! The Beekeeper and........Disintegration?! Discovered this cleaning my room awhile ago. Sorry if it's been mentioned already. Take your copy of the Beekeeper........look at the side label..........now take your copy of Disintegration and do the same........wow!... ey I wonder if this was deliberately done? Pretty cool if it was. Seeing that this is Tori's "happiest" sounding album for the most part......but there's still some darkness to it.....aurally (toast.....beekeeper..etc) and visually....the dark border along the cover's edge....which then has the title printed in Disintegration font. Guess there's always some "shadow" in her work. |

If you take acid and x and snort some K, run backwards though a field of daisies, while reading sylvia plath, imaging the movie Pirates of the Carribean, while listening to the Beekeeper simultaneously on your ipod, the Beekeeper actually will appear and show you the tree of life. Well I don't have the Disintegration album, but it's always bugged me how the Beekeeper spine bears almost no consistency with the rest of the album design. Same typeface as the song titles in the lyrics, that's it. It's a little too strong and stick-up-its-ass. |
