I just wanted to say that his song "Girl Next Door" really makes me smile. I don't listen to much radio, except the people in my art class usually put on the hip-hop station and I'm subjected to it for a little while everyday. In between all the icky Lil Kim and such, this is the only song that I find really refreshing in that daily mix of what is considered "bangin' hip-hop 'n r&b", according to the station.

Musiq is a new artist from the Philly area, and I'm not sure how much airplay he is getting elsewhere, but I hope other people are hearing him and was wondering if anyone on here was familiar with his stuff. There's another song of his, "Just Friends", that's a single as well.

I read the bio on his site and he seems like a sweetheart, too. If anyone out there is looking for a jazzy r&b-ish type singer to listen to, check out Musiq Soulchild. I think I'm going to download some more tracks and if I like 'em, I'll go out and buy his cd.
