Just got back from the M&G! We got there around midday and were numbers 13 and 14. There were around 50-60 people there by 3:45pm or so when Tori came up in a car. Mindy said that she was running very late to soundcheck so photo or signature only, not both.

She looked absolutely gorgeous and even though she was in a rush she took the time to talk to everyone. I went up her and she told me that I looked beautiful in my dress, heh. I thanked her for doing the M&G even though she was so busy and for coming to Australia. Then I said something like "I have a request but please only do it if you want to, it would mean so much to my friend and I if we could hear Gold Dust." And with that I promptly started to cry. ARGH. I was FINE the other times I have talked to her! She was so lovely and asked which shows I was going to, I said a couple but my best friend was with me tonight. We got a photo and I thanked her and went off and cried for awhile. How embarassing. Then another friend talked to her (for the first time ever) and cried as well. It was very teary down by the Stage Door this afternoon!

Cannot wait for the show tonight--even without Gold Dust it will be amazing!

twice as hard, I hope you get Gold Dust tonight. Tori has been playing it a lot more frequently this tour than she normally does, so there's a good chance you'll get it.

the Sydney Opera House doesn't have reception. So I don't think we are getting a setlist till after the show is over.

Oh good, my sleep schedule is totally out of whack because I spent this weekend being out until 4 am 3 nights in a row, so I'm up anyways and it's always good to have a real freak-out thread. I'm excited to see what'll get played tonight. So far this tour hasn't been short on surprises, so I'm sure there'll be something interesting.

Cell blocking at the Opera House isn't on purpose, it's something to do with the way the building was designed in the 60s.
