Every show seems to have been excellent, and Tori looks like she's so happy in all the videos, which is a nice contrast to the more dour 2005 solo shows. I wonder if she'll pull out any big surprises for the final full show. Maybe Winter's Carol or Our New Year? Anyone know of any requests made at the M&G? |

| so they got us go! Join Date: May 2002 Posts: 1,656 | Hey again!! The show is at 8pm Brisbane time, which is 9pm Eastern Standard Time (Australia). Can't convert that to American O'Clock, sorry. I just got back from the M&G, and yay yay YAY, I got to meet her, have my Midwinter Graces booklet signed, AND a photo! It was in the foyer at the front of the Stage Door for the Concert Hall at QPAC. I arrived around 1.15pm, and the numbering system was happening - I was number 38. I think all up there would've been around 60 - 70 who ended up floating in over the afternoon. Made some nice Tori friends, and the QPAC staff put up some barriers around 2.30 - 3pm which got everyone excited. Everyone stood up at around 3pm to line up... but it was pretty premature, because she didn't end up coming out til about 4pm. Her bodyguard came out about half an hour before and asked everyone to kindly consider others when telling Tori whatever they need to tell them (and not take too long), and that she would meet everyone, and sign something and have a photo with them because it was her last M&G of the tour. It was pretty exciting!! Anyway, I thanked her again for coming here, asked her to sign my MWG (she said 'Holly! That's a very seasonal name!', and I also thanked her for doing 'Holly, Ivy and Rose' on the album). I wasn't planning on it, but I also told her about my tori tattoo... she promised not to tell my mum. Then got a nice photo, and I was outta there! Yep, nervous, all over the shop, couldn't breathe, felt really silly and like I was going to puke, but it was still really fabulous. So looking forward to the show tonight! I think I asked for Doughnut Song, but can't remember... |
