| mani@c Join Date: Feb 2000 Posts: 5,129 | There's SO much good stuff on that album... Moving/Saxophone combo, Kite, L'Amour, Oh To Be In Love and the title track.. Every song is a classic. The Whole Story was just released as a "mid-price" at least in here so yes, go get it now. It's worth it for Experiment IV, the new WH and a slightly longer and better sounding Army Dreamers. |

I just love that Kate's influence is continuing to spread far and wide, even after all these years. I'm so happy you guys find something special in TKI cos I absolutely ADORE it. It's one to snuggle up with on those cold winter nights in front of the fire - pure, unbridled warmth and light just emanate from its every pore, and I love to bask in its glow. Mmmmh....warm and soothing!! And there's also some evidence of Kate's jaunty sense of humour in places, which adds a little fun to the experience. You can always rely on our Kate to lift your spirits, no matter how dark the content of her songs. |

Wow and Army Dreamers just sound differnet compared to the ones on the albums. I think Army Dreamers is the video version. | Rising On The Wings of the Sun  |  I've just stopped ranking my Kate records anymore. Even LIONHEART makes me giddy now. EVERY record has it's own unique powerm it's own special place that tugs at my heart in their own directions. 'Hounds Of Love' IS my soul put to music, but so is 'The Red Shoes', and 'The Dreaming', and 'The Kick Inside', and 'Never For Ever'... and oh wait... Or at least she sounds like a child! Even if I'll ever get used to this sound it'll still be one of my less lovable albums. I need a good voice, crusify me! I can't do without it. I'm not really fond of the songs and even though I bought the record just cause I saw it was the one that had Wuthering Heights, THE BEST EVER!, I can't say I'm fond of the original version. The new vocal one for me has no match! It's absolutely PERFECT. You should download it you know! You said you would! So ok, I like Wuthering Heights, Moving, Feel It (I just can't stop thinking she could easily mean fill it!  that would be a revolution!!! ) and well, To Be In Love. I've only managed to listen to the whole album twice. Yeah I know I have to reappreciate it but I have to get into The Sensual World Mark as well. Maybe after listening to all the albums I'll get back to it and start enjoying it. Just give me time man! I have new Tori here! And I'm always listening to HOL. God, I really have to get over it I know. |
