I don't know how you can do it, live on, i still see his face. my story was different, Evan was born alive. (from planned parenthood) Almost all abortions are performed before the capacity to feel pain develops however "wrong" it is is based on your own morals .. i don't think it's something that anyone can quite grasp as completely "right." -valerie | | | 08-01-2000, 01:21 PM | #4 | | a secret Join Date: Feb 2000 Posts: 3,102 | oh my. now that i'm in tears! wow. | | | 08-01-2000, 01:30 PM | #5 | | all hail the hypnotoad Join Date: Feb 2000 Posts: 4,849 | i'm completely speechless... | | | 08-01-2000, 01:32 PM | #6 | | Rotty-licious Join Date: Feb 2000 Posts: 63 | zebbie- Who knew that you were a poet. This emphasizes how ugly and undesired abortions are...and how very necessary they must be if people are willing to deal with all the emotional repercussions of making this very hard decision. | | | 08-01-2000, 03:21 PM | #8 | | Livin' on a prayer Join Date: Mar 2000 Posts: 2,440 | Wow Zebra, I'm speechless. That has got to be one of the most powerful threads I have ever read. | | | 08-01-2000, 03:28 PM | #9 | | . Fathers are the forgotten tragedy of abortion. In the end it's the mothers decision to make, whether or not the father is kicking and screaming 'please don't kill my baby'...too bad, it's her decision. odd. is it only because she carries it for 9 months ? it was half his and yet he had no say in the matter. He determines the sex of the child, yet he has no say in the final decision. No buddy, you can't bury it. There's nothing left to bury. | | | 08-02-2000, 08:30 AM | #11 | | @ddict Join Date: May 2000 Posts: 501 | Wait...Zebra, did you WRITE this? Or is it from a movie or book? If you did write this, then I'm amazed - it's brilliant. | | | 08-02-2000, 10:26 AM | #12 | | valkyrie Join Date: Feb 2000 Posts: 2,873 | "is it only because she carries it for 9 months" ONLY!?! | | | 08-02-2000, 10:35 AM | #13 | | I win "cutest fucking baby." Unfortunately it is no movie or book, but an actual conversation. verbatim, to the best of my memory. and 9 months of nausea & fatness is a small price to pay for the honor of carrying a human life. so, yea, *only* 9 months. m. | | | 08-02-2000, 10:55 AM | #15 | | I crush your head! Until then- guys, better make sure you wear a condom. OR- if he's that insistant on it, he can pay for the medical procedure to take the embryo out and pay a surrogate mother to carry your child. That'd be an interesting situation. If it's a baby's life, money should be no object, right? Course, you'd have to decide REAL early on in the game. -k | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | All times are GMT -4.
